Angel Olsen hails from St. Louis Missouri, but currently lives at Asheville North Carolina. Olsen is the writer of six studio albums which include: Big Time Burn Your fire for No Witness My Woman, and Mirrors Half Way Home. It's just that my mother is amazing with kids. Olsen moved from California to Chicago in 2006 from California in the year 2006. In 2007, she joined Emmett Kelly's Cairo Gang. All Mirrors featured dark synth-rock that was almost gothic and an affecting excursion into orchestral Pop on her previous album. Big Time was the first Olsen's album in which she sang about the desire of lesbians. On this album, she shifted to a music genre that has a long history. It makes sense.
