Taylor began her career on YouTube beginning by creating ASMR videos on her phone. PewDiePie starred her in a gaming video soon after she reached 50k subscribers. This was 1 1/2 months following the release of her first YouTube video. Taylor had stopped creating videos for her Youtube Channel after two months, and was more than 100,000 subscribers. It was due to technical issues related to the new equipment she was using, as well as her overwhelming popularity. After a lengthy time off for a month, she started creating new content. Taylor made her popular ASMR ten triggers to aid in sleeping (35 million views as of the end of August in 2022). ASMR Twenty Triggers to Sleep which was highly popular during July of 2017, has now been watched by more than 38 million people as of the 20th of August in 2012. In August 2017 Shane Dawson interviewed her and her audience grew to 1 million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1,000 per day through advertisements on her YouTube channel

Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her parents are from German as well as English heritage. She was a student at in the William E. Hay Composite High School, located within Stettler (Alberta). She lived and worked on the family's grain farm with her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. An agent scout spotted Helfer at the age of 17 when she was waiting in line for a screening.
